Another glass project this time at Holy Trinity church situated in the centre of Cambridge which is a Grade II*\u00a0medieval church. This was another project\u00a0working in conjunction with Coulson\u00a0Building Group <\/a>and Purcell Architects<\/a> who are also based in the centre of Cambridge in an office in which I\u00a0was based\u00a0in a previous life.<\/p>\n

The brief to Purcell was to provide a warmer and more\u00a0vibrant welcome and to give greater flexibility in both worship and\u00a0hospitality.<\/p>\n

The key part of the project was this trio of leaded lights:<\/p>\n

which had looked like this prior to demolition of the Victorian extension<\/p>\n

Holy<\/a>\u00a0Trinity<\/a> has a vibrant congregation and schedule of regular events.<\/p>\n

Changes were also made to allow extraction vents to be placed in the top section of leaded lights – as you see these were not treated very kindly by the HVAC workers but the cames\u00a0were gently straightened and the third picture shows the finished article.<\/p>\n
