Recently we have created new\u00a0bespoke stained glass for a house in Reigate incorporating features for the family and in particular the children. Design and colour choice was all driven by the customer who was involved throughout the process<\/p>\n

The top light has a rose and a Arthurian shield to encompass the children’s names<\/p>\n

The strong yellow front door is an important element in any Feng Shui<\/a>\u00a0and is particularly auspicious for south facing<\/p>\n

This is our first work in Reigate<\/a> \u00a0and it really shows how the three different light levels work with glass. The morning sun projects the glass into the hallway and then there is the passive colours in the afternoon and then finally the entirely different colours form the electric light projected outwards.<\/p>\n

Reigate<\/strong> \/\u02c8<\/span>r<\/span>a\u026a<\/span>\u0261<\/span>e\u026a<\/span>t<\/span><\/span>\/<\/a><\/span><\/span> is a town<\/a> of over 20,000 inhabitants in eastern Surrey<\/a>, England. It is in the London commuter belt<\/a> and one of three towns in the borough<\/a> of Reigate and Banstead<\/a>. It is sited at the foot of the North Downs<\/a> and extends over part of the Greensand Ridge<\/a>. Reigate has a medieval castle and has been a market town<\/a> since the medieval period, when it also became a parliamentary borough<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The origin of the name Reigate is uncertain, but appears to derive from Roe-deer Gate, as the town was situated near to the entrance to the de Warenne’s deer park<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Reigate has been home to some very notable people over the years:<\/p>\n

Spike Milligan<\/a>, writer and comedian, used to live at Woodhatch in Orchard Way<\/p>\n

Norman Cook<\/a>, disc jockey, was born in Bromley, London<\/a>, and raised in Reigate and attended Reigate Grammar School<\/a><\/p>\n

Mia Farrow<\/a>, film actress, lived here while married to Andr\u00e9 Previn –\u00a0better known of course as \u00a0‘Andrew Preview’ <\/a>on Morecambe and Wise<\/p>\n

George Best<\/a>, Manchester United<\/a> and Northern Ireland football player lived his last years near Reigate<\/p>\n

Dame Margot Fonteyn<\/a>, ballet dancer, was born here<\/p>\n

Ray Mears<\/a>, survival expert, attended Reigate Grammar School<\/p>\n

David Walliams<\/a>, writer and star of the Little Britain<\/a><\/i> comedy series attended Reigate Grammar School<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
