Stained glass is\u00a0\u00a0sealing\u00a0the two million pound deal\u00a0for Emmanuel College in\u00a0Cambridge. \u00a0Four\u00a0years ago we successfully completed the restoration of the glass for one of the Emmanuel College student houses see here<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Now the house has been sold by the college with the period glass\u00a0the major selling point with l<\/span>ocal firm Bidwells<\/a> sealing the deal for close on two million pounds<\/span><\/p>\n

You can’t get much closer to Cambridge train station than Glisson Road. This Victorian house has an impressive 7 bedrooms and double fronted facade with two storey bay windows.<\/em><\/p>\n

It has been used\u00a0as student housing and has accommodation over three floors including sitting room, dining room, drawing room, breakfast room and cellar. Period features include panelled doors, sash windows, fireplaces and geometric tiled flooring.<\/em><\/p>\n

The hall also has\u00a0the front\u00a0door with stained glass leaded light window and matching panels.<\/em><\/p>\n

Here are some details on Bidwells:<\/p>\n

Established in 1839 by Charles Bidwell, the Firm, originally in Ely, focused on the valuation, sale, purchase and management of farms and Estates in Cambridgeshire.<\/h2>\n
