RREC headquarters receives Rolls Royce stained glass – back in the Spring the Radley Ghost panel was on display at P & A Wood which was detailed in a previous post\u00a0here\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0After that launch\u00a0the panel\u00a0went from Great Easton\u00a0over to the Veteran Car Club’s headquarters in Ashwell to be part of the President’s Lunch display. During this excellent day I was introduced to Trevor Baldwin who is the Chairman of the Rolls Royce Enthusiasts Club.<\/p>\n

I am very pleased that the panel has now been relocated to the Rolls Royce Enthusiasts Club<\/strong> <\/a>headquarters in Paulerspury\u00a0near Silverstone. The RREC headquarters is in a fabulous setting and features\u00a0a myriad of\u00a0fantastic exhibits including AX 201 – the 1907 Silver Ghost which\u00a0has a\u00a0Barker ‘Roi de Belges’ touring body and was first used to allow Rolls Royce to compete\u00a0in the 1907 Scottish Reliability Trials. Today it\u00a0\u00a0is considered the most valuable car in the world and is now\u00a0owned by Bentley Motors\u00a0– you can read about it\u00a0here<\/strong>.<\/a><\/p>\n

The Radley panel<\/a> is now installed in the glazed atrium adjoining the reception area to welcome visitors to The Hunt House and it received a warm welcome when I delivered it last week. Here is a picture of the panel standing proudly at Paulerspury:<\/p>\n
