Way back in February I measured up for a new feature window for a house in\u00a0our local town\u00a0which was in the middle of a major rebuild. After all sorts of weather related delays in the rebuild it was finally ready to receive the new leaded light last week.<\/p>\n<p>There was a shock in store on site when I found that the window frame\u00a0I had measured to fit the window had been completely stripped out with just a hole remaining. As a result my carpentry skills were employed and with a quick trip to the local building merchant for wooden beading\u00a0a new frame was mitred up and fitted in short order. The feature window is now installed and throwing all sorts of subtle light shades into the hallway.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kettonglass-co-uk.stackstaging.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Saffron_Walden_leaded_light_panel_wp.jpg\" onclick=\"javascript:_gaq.push(['_trackEvent','outbound-article','http:\/\/kettonglass-co-uk.stackstaging.com']);\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-1583\" alt=\"leaded glass panel created for a customer in Saffron Walden\" src=\"https:\/\/kettonglass-co-uk.stackstaging.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Saffron_Walden_leaded_light_panel_wp-150x150.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The mix of lightly obscured glass types\u00a0gives goo dlight flow\u00a0and also offers a high degree of privacy which you want with a porch.<\/p>\n<p>Saffron Walden is\u00a0\u00a0a picturesque, medieval town, in north west Essex. It has a rich heritage of old buildings reflecting its wealth as a rural market town.
